Hi! I am Kristin. This blog is all about DIY projects paired with a good beer or two.  I am a “pretend” writer sharing my creative DIY projects and tips while drinking some good beers. I will show you that you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to create a cozy beautiful home, that you can decorate without going to expensive retail stores, and to start feeling comfortable using different tools. My goal is to help you create the house of your dreams so you can enjoy that beer. 

I recently bought my first house with my boyfriend in Denver. Buying a house in any city right now is insane, that being said my house is 1. OLD AF. 2. Needs a lot of work. 3. It was SUPER super expensive. If you are in the same situation as me you can’t be spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on furniture, kitchen upgrades, keeping up with the new home trends, etc. I am excited to show you how you can make your house feel like home without racking up the credit cards and having money left over to spend on some good beers. Trust me beers are expensive.

More random facts about me:

I am originally from Connecticut and moved out to Colorado about 4 years ago. I absolutely love love love Colorado. This state has it all - except the ocean. I love dogs especially my pup Ruger, he is a crazy pain in the neck Belgian Malinois mix. You will see him creeping around in my pictures. Outdoor activities are life (it’s a must in Colorado) I love hiking, camping, fishing and if you haven't noticed yet - I really love beer.
